My Religion – Scientology in Canberra – Current Affairs
This site was set up to keep the Current Affairs of Scientology Canberra available for people to access.
To begin with we will fill the void and back up with earlier posts that were once on the internet. Then it will be followed up with more current affairs.
Scientology is a religious movement like nothing else this planet has ever seen. Yes, Scientology is not understood by those who are not adherents. And even those adherents may have more to learn, if they wish. There are many tens of thousands of pages written by him. There are thousands of lectures on the subject recorded by its founder, L. Ron Hubbard.
Scientology, and Dianetics, were developed to set the individual free from the mental and spiritual bindings that hold a person from being able to achieve what they deep down think they could be possible of.
But for some people, when they hear of this, they wish to attack it, as it represents something they cannot live with. It is freedom. The goals and aims that are Scientology may expose them, so they think, and they are compelled to attack.
We do not expect that attack to be fair, or be truly rational. It will be as all religions experienced when they were also new introducing new ways to be sane and remove suffering.
The attacks of L. Ron Hubbard and his new subject, Dianetics, the forerunner to Scientology, were almost immediate.
L. Ron Hubbard pushed the limits of what he was developing. This was a philosophic way, as well as a practical way, to help a person to access his own mind, including those memories that controlled him without his knowledge. Hubbard wrote more of this in the book: Science of Survival: Prediction of Human Behavior in 1951.
In this 729 page book, he outlined what is called the Hubbard Chart of Human Evaluation and Prediction. This chart analyzes mans’ mind, and gives the reader the ability to know what a person is doing and going to do, good and evil, by knowing only his past actions, activities, and statements. It is extraordinarily accurate.
Also, in this book it is also possible to help a person, no matter what they are doing or saying.
But what is further in this book is the exposure of government mind control experiments, in what Mr. Hubbard termed Pain Drug Hypnosis. This is where any individual can be made to give up his free will and obey completely hidden commands implanted in their minds. This book was not just exposing this, but it gave practitioners ways to undo and free themselves from these hideous government crimes.
The attacks on Dianetics, L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology then escalated. But once you understand the mind, and the later research, one knows that this is what the planet is going to have to go through.
On this site we have posted earlier responses to these more recent attacks, and anything that is in accord and relevant to the stated Aims of Scientology.
Those aims are expressed in the book, Scientology: The Fundamentals of Thought, written in 1955, by L. Ron Hubbard, and are as follows:
“A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war; where the world can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology”.
So, there is no one on this world who will not benefit from the fulfillment of these aims. And for the critics, they have a site created for them to learn as well. They too can be free. Scientology Critics.
